Pizza with figs

Ingredients

  • 400g flour
  • 10ml dried yeast
  • 250ml water
  • 5ml salt
  • 2.5ml sugar
  • 20ml olive oil
  • 3 fresh figs, sliced
  • 50g cream cheese
  • Handful of white grapes, halved
  • Handful of pecans
  • 1 pear, sliced
  • Fresh mint, to taste

Directions

  1. Mix the flour with the sugar, salt and yeast. Then add the water, kneading continuously to form a dough.
  2. Leave to rise for a few hours in a warm place.
  3. Preheat oven to 230c.
  4. Knead dough again. Dust a clean surface with flour and roll out to create a thin pizza.
  5. Bake for 12-15 mins, until cooked through.
  6. Brush the pizza with olive oil and allow to cool slightly.
  7. Top with cream cheese then figs, grapes, pear, pecans and mint leaves.
